Internet poker has become world acclaimed as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous variants on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling 21 than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer rather than each other. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer declares "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course every one of the different players attain 5 cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino's first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager's value is on same level to your original wager, which means that the risks will have doubled. Bowing out means that your ante goes immediately to the house. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, including a sum equal to the original wager. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand beats the dealer's hand. The dealer pony's up money even with your bet and set odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
