Online poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous variations on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up prior to the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire five cards. After you have seen your hand and the bank's initial card, you have to in turn make a call wager or give up. The call wager's value is akin to your beginning wager, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your ante goes directly to the casino. After the bet comes the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with a sum in accordance with the ante. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the bank's hand. The house pays out cash even with your wager and fixed expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • 3-1 for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
