Literally millions and millions of individuals strive to be the next "huge thing" in poker, but here is a short rundown on four of the more well known "nice guys" of poker. Although "nice" is connected with their names when you are playing them it is "no more Mr. Nice guy" up until they have removed you out of the competition!

Daniel Negreanu

In Two Thousand and Four, his competition earnings amounted to more than four and a half million dollars and he captured 2 highly admired awards in the World Series of Poker Player of the Year and Cardplayer Magazine's Tourney Player of the Year. In February Two Thousand and Six he was appointed Card Player's Favourite Poker Player. He even still has the humility to speak with his fans about how they can improve their own game.

Howard Lederer

Referred to as "The Professor" and brother of fellow poker pro Annie Duke. His achievements have allowed him to make an instructional poker video called "Secrets of No Limit Hold'em" and also hosting a tournament poker show for Fox. As of Two Thousand and Five, his total life time winnings exceed $2.7 million.

Scotty Nguyen

Scotty is 1 of the busiest players in poker and from Two Thousand and 2004 he finished in the money in well over one hundred competitions. He is noted for saying "yeah baby" during poker matches and also coined the phrase "that's poker baby" when alluding to a especially bad loss. As of 2006, his life time winnings are almost 6 million dollars.

Chris Ferguson

Chris has earned five World Series of Poker titles with 2 of his wins coming in 2003. Has the alias "Jesus" because of his trademark long hair and beard, along with his ability to throw cards quick enough to slice through pickles and bananas. As of 2005 his total live poker tourney earnings exceeded 5 million dollars.
