Phil Ivey has been labeled as the greatest poker contender on the planet by most of the top-ranked pros. He was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to Jersey before his first birthday. He decided to take his game to the next level and headed out west to Vegas. Phil continues to play in "The Big Game" at the Bellagio with the best players on the planet. Phil credits his achievements to dedication and an undying passion for poker. Phil says that he is learning every day and is incredibly humble about his achievements. Phil knows he makes blunders in each session of poker and constantly aspires to get better.

Despite the fact that Ivey has come first in some large tournaments, he likes winning cash games on a normal basis.
